Stats about the new bans

Today a massive ban has been done and i’ve created a new stats page to know everything about these bans. You can see:

• Number of rangs banned with the percent of banned in each rang.
• Number of players banned of each country with his percent.
• Clans with banned members, the number of members banned with the percent and if the leader has been banned

You can check this in this page: http://www.combatarms-rank.com/banned.php (yes, i know the deisgn is very poor).

And keep checking the page, i will add new things along the day

UPDATE:

Now you can check the players banned in each rang, country and clan, just click over the link and a window will be displayed showing that info, in some categories with lots of players banned, there are pages to navigate through the bans.

Minor update and bug fix

Today, a new version of the page has been published with some changes:

• Animation system changed: The page was using script.aculo.us and now it has been changed to jQuery that it’s faster and it has more animations to add.
• Bug fixes: The bug in the dropdown menu has been fixed with the use of jQuery, also the autocompleter is better and not bugged, it also works in IE. The bug in the pages with IE was fixed some time ago (there is still a bug to fix when you search and you try to change the page).
• Flag tooltips changed to jQuery ones, here there is a bug with IE6.
• Added a news box to display some interesting news of the page.
• Contact form changed to another form integrated in wordpress.

And nothing more, i’m working in a big update but i don’t know where i will be able to release.

Hello Combat Arms!

Hi, as many of you know I’m dvil, the creator and owner of CombatArms-Rank. First of all I’m going to introduce myself to let you know a bit more about me:

My real name is Diego but I don’t like it, I prefer dvil (which comes from my name and surname), I’m 21 years old and I’m still a student, I love computers and web developing and I use to code bots and AI scripts too.

I started with CombatArms-Rank because I wanted to know what was my ranking in Spain, so I did a page to show the rankings of Spain, it was very simple but very useful, some days after the release I changed the system to store the rankings in a database and do the searches faster, so with that I released the rankings of all the countries, but only with Experience rankings. In the next update new rankings were released, ratio and exp recorded very day to catch powerlevelers but then, Nexon made their own version…

I was angry because all my work was trampled with that but I didn’t give it up and I started to write a new version of rankings. After 1 month working I finished the new script to make the new rankings, 23 new categories and 4 type of rankings in the time (daily, weekly, monthly and overall), this was going to be my attack to the move of Nexon, and it was checkmate because they didn’t have flag rankings (now they have them…).

Now, 1 year after that first version I’m here writing in a blog to let you know more about this project.
